Our rental fleet consists of three
major brands of canoe and kayak, Old Town, Mad River, and
Wenonah. More important than brand, however is the material
they are constructed of, royalex/poly, or Kevlar. Royalex/poly
canoes are a good choice for this river because they
withstand the rocky bottom. Our Kevlar canoes are lighter
and somewhat faster but will require more care. Choose your
canoe from the list below based on the needs of your family
or group.
You
may want to mix and match to suit your specific group
dynamic, such as, if young children need to be with Mom and
Dad we can add seats or simply rent our larger 3 seat
canoes. Longer trips or lots of gear may require a large
capacity canoe of 18 or more. If you have an odd number
of paddlers you may want to look at our selection of
recreation and touring kayaks, or maybe rent a few of each.
Want to go big, fast, and light? Try our huge Kevlar Itasca
at 19 feet or the quick and light Escape at 176.
Rental includes paddles and preservers.
